You might have seen them in the video "Closing of the Fillmore" - I believe their segment is right in front of the NRPS and GD. They had decent airplay at the time with "White Bird."

All my friends had that album -- blue sky, white clouds on the cover -- and White Bird got lots of play in our dorm rooms and apartments. Not sure we ever knew what it was about, the romantic power of it was undeniable.
